I picked this one up from Barnes and Nobles when I was back to school shopping. Feel good music is a college essential, so I think I was justified in this purchase
I got this from the free bin of my local record shop. I picked it up because the album art interested me, and it turns out I quite enjoyed the music. The case is falling apart. Its broken in half and the cover is cracked. It's also been written on in sharpie. Upun further investiagtion, I found that it is from a local radio station- a student led station that's been running since the late 1950s. It's an advance CD, meaning the station got it before it went to retail. Pretty cool that it's mine now over 10 years later
I got this at the mall. I hadn't heard the full album before I bought it, I just knew I liked green day and was enchanted by the atom punk girl on the cover. I started listening to green day in middle school, maybe early highschool and I thought they were just the coolest thing. I found out not long after that my mom liked them too. SHe is a lot like me in more ways than I care to admit, but her music taste is pretty great
I think this one is from walmart. The clash is one of my favorite bands, as I already mentioned, and I thought that a greatest hits collection like this would be a good addition to my library
I love this album, and I had quite a willow phase for a minute. I really like the style of this album. Not much more to it. Just another one I got at the mall on a whim
My uncle gave this to me. He is a music collector too, with a collection to put my own to shame. He picked it up for me because he knows I like the band. We don't talk about music, he just knew, I guess. His house is hectic, but there's always music on. Everytime I visit, there's a record spinning. It's something I want in my own space, it makes me feel at ease.
Another from the music store at the mall. Fall out Boy has been one of my favorite bands since I was 14. This album has been my favorite of theirs for a long time. The title refers to a Vincent Van Gogh quotue which I also quite like. Its the cross over of the centure, my favorite artist referencing my favorite artist.
This one is from the mall too. Are you sensing a pattern? Paramore is another band that I've been into since I could form my own opinions. After Laughter is a solid album that is probably one of my favorite's of theirs to listen through.
This one is from good will. I picked it up because I know my mom likes her music, so I figured I would too. I was right.
I got this at the mall, too. I love the album, and I love the art for it just as much. The lyric book folds out into a poster, which is super cool. It's above my bed now, with all my other pretty things.
Another best of album... this one is probably from walmart too. I like CCR, because of course I do. My dad does. Their music is fun, and I like the sound a lot. I don't play this CD a ton, but it's there for me if I need some swamp rock background noise
This is the only album I have on VInyl and CD- I don't make a habit of buying duplicates. I got myself the CD. I found it all walmart, and the case is cracked and actively falling apart. I think that is actually pretty fitting thematically for the album. I have liked TOP for years, and they are one of my favorite bands. It was through their music I met my first bbest friend in middleschool, and I will always love it for that, and for all the hard times it got me through.
This album is one I have mixed feelings about. It's not my favorite by any means, but it's fun to listen through, My sister likes it a lot. I bought it when it first came out,
I love this album. It means the world to me. I first got into TOP as a sad, anxious 6th grader. I have changed so much in the years since then, but I have listened to their music through it all. Clancy is an album about change, among other things. It came out when I was starting college, and I had just finished my first semester with a solid 2.3 GPA. My parents were arguing, sperated but not divorced. I was living with my grandma for over a month. I was not doing well at all. And my older sister got me this album for christmas. SHe apoligized, said she wasn't sure I would like it. She probably won't ever know what it means to me, we aren't that close, but it made my day.
hands down my favorite Cd. I can't explain why, exactly. I love the songs of course, but hearing it from my speakers in my room, the sound fills up my mind in a different way and it makes me feel dreamy. I don't stream this one ever. The disc is currently residing in a friends CD player, and the urge to find a vinyl to replace it grows stronger every day, even though I really could just ask my friend for it back. I love this album a lot, and the design of the case is incredible
I ordered this for myself as a reward for not failing my Biology exam. I studied my ass off and brought my grade from a D to a B. It's probably the hardest class I've taken, and I think I deserved a little gift for passing. I love Lorde, she is probably my favorite pop musician
This was not a CD. It was in a CD box, on the shelf with other CDs, but it was in fact a digital download. I paid 15 dollars for a poster and some photos. I didn't realize until it was too late, and on top of that the box was damaged. I'm not bitter about it though. With my lovely digital download, I burned myself a copy of the album and the problem was solved. Bitching and groaning aside, it is a lovely album and I do like my posters and fancy lyric book.
I ordered this one with my birthday money, and I love it very dearly. I like Billy Joel, and this album is just such a good one to listen through. No skips on this album for me.
I like Cake. I like CDs. I like supporting my local record shop. And SHort skirt/long jacket is one of my favorite songs. Little did I know it would be the only track on this album I liked. That's a little bit of a hyperbole, but this is my least favorite CD in my collection and I sorta love it more because of that.
Schoolhouse Rock songs performed by various rock artists... When I saw this at goodwill I simply couldn't pass it up
You know how I feel about fall out Boy... I didn't love Mania, so I was a little nervous for SMFS. It's one of my favorites now, and It's the reason I joined Team Stardust for Art Fight 2024.
I love TMG, and they're one of my very favorite bands. I got this one for myself with my birthday money, and I listen to it a lot. I love everything about it, especially the design of the cover art, and the little blurb inside the case that has the action movie lore. Such a good album.
